We are always on the lookout for new acts!
Likewise, it's the same for any budding D.J.'s -
new talent is always appreciated.
Any venues wishing to host a regular promotion are always welcome.
We would particularly like to hear from anyone wishing to put on a regular
bands night, as we are currently restricted to acoustic acts only.
We do have a new venue that is going to "give us a go!"
It's in the unlikely surroundings of
The Royal British Legion, Spring Road, Abingdon
so look out for our Legion heading on the 'What's On' page -
This could turn out to be a corking venue, with a seperate room
ideal for full bands, where we have already seen George Haslam and his
Big Band (there were about bloody 30 of 'em)
give a cracking afternoon performance -
and the beers pretty cheap too!
First date is Saturday 9th June and we are talking to
(and threatening) Vigilance Black Special
about them opening the venue for us.
Quite fitting as they were our first ever band at the original
Skittle Alley all those moons ago.
